How Room Tracking Works

Statbate does not rely on a single public page scrape. It runs dedicated collectors that connect directly to platform chat and event systems, then store room activity in ClickHouse for analytics.

The Tracking Pipeline

  1. Collectors connect to each supported platform.
  2. They subscribe to room activity and event streams.
  3. Public tips, chat messages, session events, and room metadata are stored.
  4. The free site and Plus read from that collected dataset.

Why Some Rooms Are Missing

The system prioritizes rooms that are active enough to justify live monitoring. That means:

  • rooms with meaningful viewer activity are more likely to be captured
  • very low-traffic rooms may appear late or not at all
  • rooms that go online only briefly can be missed
  • outages cannot be backfilled if the platform never exposed a replay API

This is why Statbate can have strong coverage without claiming perfect coverage.

What "Tracked Room" Means on Statbate

A tracked room is a room for which Statbate has collector-backed data, such as:

  • a public tip history
  • room session activity
  • viewer or status changes
  • enough data to build free-site or Plus analytics

The free /online page intentionally filters to rooms that already have that collected activity, rather than showing every room name a directory might expose.

What This Means for SEO and Product Pages

A model profile page is strongest when Statbate has enough real collected data to show:

  • recent or live activity
  • monthly totals
  • all-time totals
  • tipper history
  • charted trends

That is also why missing or untracked models should not be treated as proof that the underlying profile does not exist on the platform.
