What Last Online Means
Last online is the most recent time Statbate saw activity from that room in the collector data.
What the Timestamp Represents
The value comes from the latest tracked room event or room-state update associated with that model. In practice, it answers this question:
When did Statbate last see this room active in the live data feed?
It is not a promise that the room was online continuously until that exact second, and it is not pulled from a historical platform API after the fact.
When Statbate Shows "online"
On the free model profile page, Statbate treats a room as online when the last observed activity is still fresh enough to count as live. If no recent activity has been seen, the page switches to a human-readable relative timestamp such as 12 minutes ago or 2 hours ago.
Why It Can Differ from What You See on the Platform
Possible reasons:
- The room just went offline and the platform UI has not caught up yet
- The room is visible in the platform directory, but no current collector-backed activity is being received
- The collector saw the room recently, but new events stopped arriving
How This Relates to the Online Rooms Page
The /online page is stricter than a simple "last seen" timestamp. It is meant to show rooms that currently have collector-backed live data, not every room that might still appear in a public directory.
